Stormproof®

The Stormproof® panel system is an exposed fastened offering that can be used for both roof and wall applications. Stormproof® is ideal for agricultural, light commercial, residential and storage buildings.

The Stormproof® panel must be installed over a solid, waterproofed deck when used as a roof panel. The coverage width of Stormproof® is 36 inches. MBCI also offers Drip Stop, an innovative product that works by creating a medium for trapping moisture in the specially designed pockets formed within the felt’s membrane. It is applied to the back of our Stormproof® panel during the manufacturing process. Drip Stop is a money-saving alternative that will save you up to 25% more in labor costs compared to installing fiberglass insulation. Drip Stop is held to a high standard of durability and efficiency. It is not susceptible to ripping, tearing or deteriorating like standard insulation and vapor barriers. Additionally, Drip Stop is UL 723-Approved for flame spread and smoke generation and comes with a 20-year adhesion warranty.
